Hey, There are Concentration Camps in Australia!
Everything old will be new again.
Australia started as a prison colony Great Britain, God save the Queen. And to a prison colony it has willfully returned, this time locking up the unvaccinated masses.
From the beginning of our media-fueled pandemic, Australia pursued a “Zero COVID” policy. That meant that they planned to lockdown or otherwise bother their citizens until COVID-19 was completely eradicated from their sunny, kangaroo-filled island.
But that plan was… unscientific. You don’t have to be a doctor in virology, or even wide awake, to understand that COVID-19 is an airborne respiratory virus, like the flu. It’s not polio. It’s not smallpox (which is making a comeback in America thanks to our welcoming attitude towards the Third Worlders flooding our Southern Border). It can’t be eradicated completely with a vaccine or a shot. It will always exist. That’s the reality. We’re just going to have to live with it.
Recently, Australia decided that it would get back to following The Science(TM), and admitted that “Zero COVID” is impossible. But its government hasn’t acted like it.
In fact, it’s done the opposite. It’s now locking its vaccine-hesitant citizens up in a concentration camp called Howard Springs.
I know you’re thinking that I must be exaggerating. I’m not.
Certifiable idiots in the goofy-accented Australian press like Claire Lehmann, founding editor of a publication called Quillette, have been promising the English-speaking Western world that Howard Springs is not an internment or concentration camp.
“It’s totally voluntary,” she and others shrieked when it was opened.
Lehmann even posted a photo to Twitter of a few attractive women hanging out at the camp, and pitched it like a sort of Spring Break resort where the unvaccinated could choose to take a vacation and party like it’s 1984.
My first thought when I saw those photos was “PR stunt by the Australian government.” I later researched the enticing babes (strictly research) and decided that they looked suspiciously staged.
Lehmann, in her naïveté, couldn’t fathom that the photos might have been a propaganda stunt. (When I pointed that out, she blocked me on Twitter). Nobody ever accused mainstream press slouches of being smart.
As usual, I was right.
Earlier this week, three detainees at Howard Springs escaped the premises.
And like any good vacation resort would, Howard Springs sent Australian authorities on a massive manhunt, complete with police checkpoints in the streets, to retrieve the three unvaccinated nuisances.
So much for “voluntary.”
Lehmann and the rest of the press’ malfeasance was further illuminated when Australian Hayley Hodgsen, a former prisoner, blew the whistle on the COVID camp.
She relayed her experience:
“So then the police officers blocked my driveway,” she said. “I walked out and I said, ‘what’s going on, are you guys testing me for COVID? What’s happening?’ They said, ‘no, you’re getting taken away. And you have no choice. You’re going to Howard Springs. You either come with us now, and we’ll put you in the back of the divvy van. Or you can have a choice to get a ‘COVID cab’… I just said, ‘I don’t consent to this. I don’t understand why I can’t just self-isolate at home, like a lot of other people are doing.’ And they just said, ‘we’ve just been told from higher up where to take you. And that’s all that there is.’
Sounds totally “voluntary” and not-at-all concentration camp-y to me!
Thursday, another video surfaced online — this one from a detainee inside the camp — of a four-eyed nerd wearing an N95 mask, poncho, and latex gloves giving a written warning to the detainee, who apparently committed the war crime of doing her laundry sans mask.
“You’re allowed to go to the laundry, but you’ve gotta wear a mask,” the man said to the detainee, a female who had her feet kicked up on the railing of her quarantine cabin’s porch while she filmed her stern talking-to.
“You can’t leave your balcony to go to the fence to talk to somebody else,” he told the woman. “That’s just obvious. "Again, it doesn’t have to make sense. There has to be lines everywhere drawn.” (Emphasis added).
I would submit to the fine Howard Springs gestapo officer that concentration camps rarely do make sense.
The rest of the woman’s protests were in vain.
These people are not working in the interest of public health, and they know it.
That last part is key. The Australian government, all the way on down to the goober in the poncho at Howard Springs know that they are committing evil, unnecessary acts against their citizens. They do not care. They are drunk on power, and can’t bear to give it up.
But for the Second Amendment, you can bet your medical mask that Dr. Fauci and the rest of the proponents of The Science(TM) would be marching you to a camp just like Howard Springs. CNN and the rest of the usual suspects would be cheering them on.
Here’s hoping they don’t try.
